Open House Quick Tips: Part Two

Follow these quick tips when holding your open house
"...it's important to have a qualified, professional real estate agent at your side during the entire process. "
Holding an open house for your home can be nerve-wracking. Have you staged your home effectively? Is your home too cluttered? Is it clean enough?

As we discussed in our last post, to answer all these questions and more, it’s important to have a qualified, professional real estate agent at your side during the entire process. And if you need more help, here are a few pointers to follow when holding an open house:

• Leave some snacks or treats for visitors. It’s a nice touch that helps increase the comfort level associated with your home.
• Find somewhere else to place your pets when holding an open house. Some prospective buyers may be allergic or afraid of your animals. They can also be a distraction to showing the features of your home.
• Stay away from lighting too many candles – it will give the idea that you’re hiding something.
